Fulham boss Marco Silva confirms winger Harry Wilson will be out for the next two to three weeks with a shoulder injury.

Fulham boss Marco Silva has confirmed that Harry Wilson will be out for at least a few weeks with a shoulder injury.

After losing 3-2 to Liverpool in the semi-finals of the EFL Cup, Fulham suffered more disappointment in the cup at home to Newcastle United on Saturday.

Goals from Sean Langstaff and Dan Burn saw the west London club down 2-0 in the FA Cup fourth round.

To add to Fulham frustration, Wilson was replaced by Willian in the first half after picking up a shoulder injury.

Ahead of Tuesday’s Premier League clash with Everton, Silva revealed that Wilson is expected to be sidelined for a short time.

Unfortunately, another absence from the match for us,andquot; Silva told reporters on Monday and at a press conference.

andquot; We were able to look after our players very well, which is good after a busy, busy December and January. We don’t have many injuries, which is a good sign that we did things very well and the players enjoyed themselves.

andquot; It was different, when he fell at that moment [after the failure], there was something on his shoulder – nothing muscular or anything like that.

andquot; But unfortunately for us, the head is missing for at least two or three weeks. Hopefully not longer, but at least three weeks and it will go.

Silva also confirmed that Adama Traore is unavailable, but the winger is closing in on a return after returning to training.

Apart from Wilson and Traore, Fulham will not be able to call on Calvin Bassey, Alex Iwobi and Fado Ballo-Toure, who are currently at the Africa Cup of Nations.

After collecting 24 points from 21 games, the Cottagers go into Tuesday’s #039 clash in 13th place in the Premier League table.

Fulham have the chance to complete their first league double over Everton after narrowly winning 1-0 in the reverse fixture..
